5/23 - Book Launch of the Graphic Canon 
Act-i-vate gave me my start in comics. The tight knit web-comics collective, founded by Dean Haspiel (who just won an Emmy, btw! Go Dean!) and Dan Goldman let me and Leavitt do our first long comics story, Backstage. Looking at it now, all I can see are the louse-ups of my early attempt, by Backstage was the seed that gave birth to Scarlett Takes Manhattan, and later, Puppet Makers.
Dean was kind enough to ask me to contribute to the Act-i-vate Primer, a handsome, hardbound, glossy covered anthology that was recently nominated for a Harvey Award. I have a mere two signed copies available in the store. Fortunately, my style improved by the time I got to contribute.
