For Art and Coffee

September 29th, 2010 · No Comments · Art

As the bio says, I’m a coffee addict.  So when Clay Enos approached me and asked if he could wrap his delicious yet oh so ethical roast in one of my art prints, I gave him a resounding “hell  yeah.”  The above, from the Organic Coffee Cartel, is the result.  The Organic Coffee Cartel makes [...]

On Friday, I’ll be speaking at the Influencer 10 Conference. My panel is called  “Collision Course: The Artist and the Muse of Commerce,” and I’ll be sharing the stage with the Kathy Grayson of the pretty-darn-spectacular Hole Gallery, with my friend Matt Semler of the Roger Smith Hotel moderating. What is Influencer10? Influencer10 is a [...]

Speaking at Ignite NYC Tonight

September 26th, 2010 · No Comments · Events

It means, the drop hollows the stone, and is the most direct metaphor of [...]

The Girlie Show

September 17th, 2010 · 1 Comment · Art

Last month, OKC arts impressaria and Dr. Sketchy’s headmistress Marilyn Artus asked me to do the poster for her annual indie craft fair, The Girlie Show.  I had a ton of fun with the textures on his dancing flapper.  The original drawing is almost two feet tall.  Big and detailed, like I like ‘em.

MF Magazine

September 16th, 2010 · 1 Comment · Art

MF Magazine recently shot a feature on my art and my collaberation with Dirtee Hollywood.  The shoot was an utter blast. I got to collaborate with such a talented team of stylist-ninjas and hair magicians, then transform the photos with my evil sea-beasts.  MF Magazine is a lovely glossy, so if you see it, pick [...]
