I'm Molly Crabapple, an artist and writer in New York. My art show, Shell Game, was covered by press including New Republic, Rolling Stone, Fast Company, Wired, and The American Reader. My work can be found in the permanent collections of the New York Historical Society, the Rubin Museum of Art, and the Groucho Club. I've published several books, including Discordia (with Laurie Penny), and the forthcoming Straw House. I write a monthly column for VICE, and my essays have appeared at CNN, The Paris Review and Jacobin.
I <3 your stuff. I think I'd said that once or twice before, but it needed to be said. Day 4's painting was my favorite.
If I was an artist, I'd want to be like you, but I'm a writer, so I'm hoping to tell whimsical stories, with an emphasis on the "freakish" definition of whimsical, in the YA genre.
