Spent today balenced on a ladder, drawing Mary Shelley and her creation in the corner of Library Bar in the East Village. A truly fine and epic dive bar it is.

I'm Molly Crabapple, an artist and writer in New York. My art show, Shell Game, was covered by press including New Republic, Rolling Stone, Fast Company, Wired, and The American Reader. My work can be found in the permanent collections of the New York Historical Society, the Rubin Museum of Art, and the Groucho Club. I've published several books, including Discordia (with Laurie Penny), and the forthcoming Straw House.
